Delois (Nita) Waver was born on May 26th, 1951 to the parents of Frazier and Cora Lee Waver in Macon County, Tuskegee, Alabama. At an early age Delois gave her life to God and united with St. John Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully until God called her to her Heavenly Home on January 8th, 2023 under the care of Sylacauga Health and Rehab Service.
Delois received her formal education from the Talladega County School system and graduated from Phyllis Wheatley High School with the class of 1969. She began her work career early in life and was employed with Coosa Sportswear for a number of years. She later became a faithful and dedicated employee with Jack’s Family Restaurant in Sylacauga, Alabama. She was known for making the best biscuits in the business. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frazier and Cora Lee Waver, one brother, Eddie James Waver and other relatives.
Delois loving memories to be cherished and celebrated by her sisters, Geneva (Noble) Askew of Sylacauga, AL, Martha Bozeman of Augusta, GA, and Marion Waver of Montgomery, AL; one brother, Calvin Waver of Atlanta, GA; special nephews, Victor (Jackie) Bozeman of Augusta, GA, and Tory (Keshia) Askew of Huntsville, AL; special niece, Coretta (Rashad) Pearson of Anniston, AL; and a host of other relatives and special friend, Roseylnn Davis also sharing memories.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, we thank God for the time he gave us to spend with her.
