Mr. Franklin D. Roosevelt Hart was born on January 20, 1941 to the late Mrs. Geneva Craig and step father, Mr. Morris Craig in Sylacauga, AL.
He united in Holy Matrimony to Inez Dorothola Askew on August 14, 1971. To this union one son was born Fritz Thaddeus Hart.
He was a faithful and devoted member of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church, where he severed as a deacon, member of the male chorus and the full gospel choir. He also assisted in the preparation of food and serving in the kitchen area. He devoted himself to these tasks until God called him home on March 30, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his mother, step father and son.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Inez D. Hart of Sylacauga, AL; daughter in law, Leslie Hart of Montgomery, AL; one grandson, Noah Hart of Montgomery, AL; one aunt Costeena McFarlin of Detroit, MI; nephews, Byron E. (Staci A.) Holley of Herndon, VA; and Torrie D. (Keisha C.) Askew of Huntsville, AL; first cousins, John Lewis Gamble of Savannah, GA; Claudia Jackson of Sylacauga, AL; one brother in law, Noble (Geneva) Askew, III of Sylacauga, AL; step sister, Glenda (Melvin) Wheeler of Detroit, MI; one adopted sister, Willa Dean Prater of Sylacauga, AL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
