Freddie Mae Hand

Sylacauga, AL - Freddie Mae Hand, 83, was born to the late Doc Hand and Mildred Adams Hand on February 6, 1935 in Sylacauga, AL.  She departed this walk of life on March 27, 2018 at Coosa Valley Medical Center.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Ada B. Carr; brothers, Henry M. Hand and George T. Hand, Sr.

She was a faithful and active member of St. Paul AME Church, until her health failed.  Sis. Hand had a passion for talking about the Lord, reading, doing word search puzzles and talking to family and friends on the phone. 

Ms. Hand leaves to cherish her memories, a loving daughter, Jaye Shyree Hand-Jennings; a loving son, Jon T. (Tanya) Hand; sister in law, Mary Hand; granddaughters, Felecia Riggins (Wade) McGregor, Jessica Hand, Joie Hand, Jalyn Hand and Juliana Hand; one great granddaughter, Ashelea McCain; one great great granddaughter, Kaidyn Mobley; and a host of other relatives and friends.
