James Lee (Jimmy T.) Seals

Mr. James Lee “Jimmy T” Seals was born on October 2, 1941 to the late Queen Estelle Nix and the late James Seals in Talladega, AL.

“Jimmy T” confessed Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Zion CME Church in Alpine, AL.   He was preceded in death by two brothers, James “Rabbit” Seals, George Seals, and one sister, Bernice Cook. 

“Jimmy T” departed this walk of life on December 18, 2018 at his residence, under the loving care of his wife of fifty-eight years.

“Jimmy T” was united in Holy Matrimony to Ms. Jennie Ruth Jackson to their union five children were born, Jimmy (Phyllis) Seals, William (Marcia) Seals, Teresa (John) Garrett, Bridgette (Billy) Huntley and Alfredia Seals.

He was a loving and devoted granddaddy and Paw-Paw to five granddaughter, Ebonee Seals, Brittany Seals, Crystal Seals, Andrea Seals, and Morgan Scott; two grandsons, Brandon Mostella and John W. Garrett; two great grandsons, his “Buddy” Camden Seals, and little man Jade Honea.

He leaves to cherish his memories, five sisters, Annie Morris, Sallie Whiteside, Bobbie Keith, Annie Swain, and Kathy Curry; two brothers, Walter D. Player, and Joseph Jackson; three aunts, Zelda Pless, Catherine Basdeo, Sadie Swain; one uncle, Spurgeon Seals.

  Another one of our angel has earned his winds, he had to stop and drop everything.  It broke our hearts when you went away, a very lonely and sad day.  God knew best, he loved you to.  He had other plans laid out for you. We will see you on the other side, where everything is a smooth ride.  We love and miss you daddy.
