Josephine (Duck) Garrett

Ms. Josephine (Duck) Garrett was born April 1, 1947 to the union of the late J.C. Garrett and Gussie Morris Garrett.  She confessed Christ and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Church of Detroit, MI; She had various jobs through out her life that consisted of her cooking for ten plus years and a custodian worker for Butzel Family Center, for ten plus years.

Ms. Garrett departed her life on December 20, 2018 at Coosa Valley Medical Center, Sylacauga, AL.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Marie (Charles) Jackson, Shirley (Lamount) Stevenson, Persheil, Christopher, Perniska, and Marcellus; grandchildren, Devin L. Garrett and Shawnta L. Garrett; six great-grandchildren, DeWayne, Lionel, MaKel, Anthony, Randel, Jr., and Nigel; one sister, Ruby Garrett Timmons; one brother, Eddie F. (Michelle) Garrett; and a host nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
