Ms. Mamie Miller was born August 12, 1926 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. To the parentage of Lenard and Sallie Miller.
She confessed Christ at an early age and united with Early Rose Missionary Baptist Church. She later joined Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a humble servant until her health declined.
Ms. Miller had a genuine love for people and a passion for children. While serving as a faithful servant she dedicated her all to many committees like children and adult choir, children Sunday School teacher, and kitchen and pastor aide.
On March 25, 1946 she united in holy matrimony to John L. Miller. To this union three children were born.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Sallie Gilyard of Tacoma, WA; two sons, Marvin (Portia) Miller of Sylacauga, AL; and Cedric (Shardel) Miller of GA; one sister-in-law, Bobbie (Sammie) Huntley of Alexander City, AL; one brother-in-law, Charlie Earl (Ann) Miller of Lincoln, AL; twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-right great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
