Mary Nell (Townsend) Wilson

Ms. Mary Nell Townsend - Wilson was born to the parentage of the late Majorie Burns and the late William Brager on December 24, 1944 in Talladega County, Alabama.

Ms. Wilson accepted Christ at an early age and united with Friendship Baptist Church.

On Friday, December 14, 2018, Ms. Mary Nell departed this walk of life at Sylacauga Health and Rehab, Sylacuaga, AL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Kenneth Burns, andNorman Brager; twin daughter, Mary Ann and Sarah Ann; father Odis Wilson, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Angela Wilson and Francina Wilson; two sons. William (Dela) Crowe, and Paul (Stephanie) Wilson; five grandchildren, Jessica (Joey) Wilson—Hodges, Jonathan (I’esha) Board, Jarvis (Brittany) Bridges, and Ashley Adair; seven great-grandchildren, Chloe, Dominque, Makenzie, Zylie, Lyla, Ashanti and Coby; nine sisters, Sarah Burns, Helen Rush, Carolyn Wyckoff, Martha Miller, Twanda Robinson, Evelyn Map, Ronnie Howard, Annetta Mims, and Amergene Ayers; two brothers, Dan Brager, and Jimmy Burns; one aunt, Dorothy Rhoden; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.  

  Another one of our angel has earned his wings, he had to stop and drop everything.  It broke our hearts when you went away, a very lonely and sad day.  God knew best, he loved you to.  He had other plans laid out for you. We will see you on the other side, where everything is a smooth ride.  We love and miss you daddy.
