Richard Earl (Rick) Garrett

Mr. Richard E. Garrett was born on December 12, 1954 to the late Annie L. Garrett and the late Jimmie E. Garrett.

Mr. Garrett was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Garrett; two sisters, Lillie Dean Garrett and Doris Garrett.

Mr. Garrett departed this life on August 28, 2018 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Tracy (Bianca) Brazier of Jacksonville, Alabama; and Alricko Hardy of Pleasant Grove, Alabama; one daughter, Sakenna Burns of Sylacauga, Alabama; three step-sons, Alvin Burns, Delimus Burns and Brandon Burns all of Sylacauga, Alabama; three loving sisters, Annie Ree Jews of Childersburg, Alabama; Frankie Mae Curry of Philadelphia, PA; and Betty Swain of Augusta, Georgia; three brothers, Jimmy (Edna) Garrett of Philadelphia, PA; Willie James Garrett and Earnest Ray Garrett of Childersburg, AL; eleven grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
