Ruthie L Morris

Childersburg, AL - Ms. Ruthie Lee Morris, 77, was born on August 26, 1940 to the parentage of the late Mr. & Mrs. Bennie and Rosetta Pope.  She was united in Holy Matrimony to Martee Morris Sr. and to this union four children were born.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined AD Church of God.  She later united with Liberty Christian Church.  

Ms. Ruthie Morris departed this life on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Coosa Valley Medical Center, Sylacauga, AL, surrouned by her loving daughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Georgia Mae Rhoden, Sadie Mae Pope, and Joyce Stallworth.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters, Vanessa Pope, Lisa Morris, and Teresa Morris; one son, Martee Morris Jr. all of Childersburg, AL; two brothers, Elder Ben Howard (Dorothy) Pope and Anderson (Barbara) Pope; four beautiful grandchildren, Durell (Princess) Morris, Derrius Pope, David Pope, and Tasha Pope all of Childersburg, AL; seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
