Powder Springs, Ga - Sammie Wells Smith, 80, was born on July 8, 1937 to the parentage of the late Beulah Wells and the late Sanford Wells in Sylacauga, AL. 

Ms. Smith departed this walk of life on February 15, 2018 at WellStar Cobb Hospital, Austell, Ga.

She leaves to cherish her memories seven children, Brenda Watson, Sarah Smith, Elizabeth Smith, Charles Smith, Michael Smith, Arthur Smith and Larry Smith; twenty grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
