Swazette Monic Threatt

Ms. Swazette Monic Threatt was born on September 24, 1979 to the parentage of Ms. Rosemary Threatt and Mr. Andrew Bruno. 

On April 6, 2018, Ms. Threatt departed this walk of life at her residence, surrounded by family. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Booker T. Bruno; Aunt Shelia Diane Bruno; grandfather, Joe Alex Threatt; and a special aunt, Brenda G. Threatt. 

She leaves to cherish her memories two loving daughters, Zoe & Jashnte Edwards; her parents, Rosemary Threatt McGhee of Sylacauga, AL; Andrew (Karen) Bruno of Montgomery, AL; her sisters, Felicia Wells of Lincoln, AL; Demarsha (Daryl) Kelley, Anna McGhee, Sidra McGhee, Telannia McGhee all of Sylacauga, AL; Chantelle Payne and Karen Felton both of St. Louis; her brothers, Juan Wells and Tal McGhee Jr. both of Sylacauga, AL; and Alex Bruno of St. Louis; grandmother, Rema, Williams of Albany, New York; special family bonding, Derroine Norwood, Tara Jordan, Rosanique Pickett, Sonja Threatt Walker; near and dear friends, Terri Caldwell and Shan Marbury; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

A limb has fallen from the family tree.  I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me.  Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.  The good life I lived while I was strong.  Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you.  Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.  My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.  Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.  Continue traditions, no matter how small.  Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls.  I miss you all dearly, so keep up you chin.  Until the day comes we’re together again.
