A.C. Ware

Sylacauga, Alabama - Mr. A.C. Ware earthly journey began on February 21, 1943, in Sylacauga, Alabama.  He was welcomed by his beloved parents, Ben Ware and Mary Ellen Edwards Ware, who both preceded him in death.  At an early age Mr. A.C. accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and united his faith and became a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama.

Mr. A.C. received his education in the Talladega County School System and became a product of the historical Phyllis Wheatley High School in Childersburg, Alabama.  He graduated with the class of 1962.  Shortly after graduating he was employed with Avondale Mill, Inc. Mr. A.C. was loyal and dedicated to working until his retirement. He had forty years of perfect attendance while working at Avondale.

Mr. A.C. loved his family and friends. He had a passion for fishing and working in his garden. In his spare time, he loved watching baseball and going out in the woods to hunt.

On December 28, 2024, Mr. A.C. departed this walk of life at his residence under the care of Affinity Hospice Care.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben Ware and Mary Ellen Ware, siblings, Queen Ester Jackson, Willie Joe Clisby, and Leon Clisby.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, a loving daughter, Valerie Eddins; two siblings, Benjamin (Shirley) Ware, and Mary Thompson; two grandchildren, Camisha Jones, and Iesha Eddins Norwood; three great grandchildren, De’Andr Norwood, Dyllin Norwood, and Dallas Norwood; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of life for Mr. A.C. Ware, age 81, will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11:00AM at New Hope Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama. Pastor Bobby L. Harris, Eulogist. Interment will commence in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Sylacauga, Alabama.  Public viewing will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, 1:00PM to 7:00PM at Community Funeral Home.
