Alice Faye Johnson earthly journey began on May 21, 1947 in Childersburg, Alabama to the parents of William Johnson, Sr. and Geneva Marbury Johnson.
At an young age Alice Faye grandmother and aunt made sure she knew and kept the Lord in her life, and she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with 16th Street Baptist Church, Birmingham, Alabama.
Alice Faye received her education at George Washington Carver and Parker High School in Birmingham, Alabama. After receiving her education, she began working in various Restaurants, and later became a Property Manager over Apartments where she retired.
Alice Faye departed this walk of life on December 31, 2023 under the care of Coosa Valley Medical Center, Sylacauga, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Johnson, Sr. and Geneva I. Johnson, son, Virgil Wilkerson, siblings, William Johnson, Jr., DeWallace Borden, Rosie Walker, Susie Wright, Pearlie Wright Forbes, Raymond Wright, McKinley Johnson, Unzell Isabella Abraham Isabella, and Roy Marbury, aunt, Hattie Crowe, Frank and Lily Mae Scott.
Alice Faye’s love will forever be cherished by her loving daughters, Shannon Thomas and April Wilkerson; loving son, Joe (Catherine) Bolden; loving siblings, Willie James Wright, Ben (Glenda) Wright, Nina Faye (Eugene) Marbury, Ann Johnson, Angela Denise Rudish, Shereka Chaney, Susie McElrath, Minister Clayton (Jeanetta) Jews, and Farrah (Robert) Harris; loving grandchildren, Jerrica Wilkerson, La’Shika Robinson, Domonique Wells (Ashley) Wilkerson, Ronnie Jones, Erica Wilkerson, Carlos Kee, Keondra Wilson, E’lonnie Wilkerson, Maraina Kee (Anthony) Dixon, Miyaa McCormick, Dimitrius McCormick, Jaloni Wilkerson, and Ja’Koby Jackson; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, longtime friend, Myles Covington, best friend, Sarah Jackson, aunts Sara Marbury, special cousin, Milton Marbury, and a host of other relatives and friends.
