Annette McMillian’s earthly journey began on September 2, 1947 in Sylacauga, Alabama to the parents of Arthur McMillan and Mae Ella Fowler McMillan.
Annette was a true believer in God and accepted him as her Lord and Savior at an early age. And united with Harper Springs Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama.
Annette received her formal education in the Talladega County School System and graduated from B.B. Comer Memorial High School, Sylacauga, Alabama. After receiving her education, Annette passion for helping people, guided her into the nursing field, where she was employed at Coosa Valley Medical Center, Sylacauga, Alabama for more than 40 years.
To know Annette, is to LOVE Annette. Her heart was as big as the world. As a child, she moved to Chicago, Illinois for a few years before returning to Alabama to care for her ill father.
Annette departed this walk of life on September 28, 2023 at her residence in Sylacauga, Alabama, surrounded by her loving devoted family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Conner, parents, Arthur McMillan and Mae Ella Fowler McMillan, daughter, Tonnette McMillian, sister, Lois Gaddis, and brother, Arthur McMillan, Jr.
Annette’s love will forever be remembered by her daughter, Stephanie McMillian; siblings, Jimmy (Willie) Dark, Ethel Pattford, Anthony McMillian, and Frankie McMillian; loving grandchildren, Sonja McMillian, Alvin (Brittany) McMillian, Cord McMillian, Keith McMillian, Cynthia McMillian (Jacquilla) Hauser, and Aunyee Currie; 14 great grandchild; special son in law, Charles Love, and loving sister/best friend, Irene Nix; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
