Annie (Miller) Barber

Annie Miller Barber earthly journey began on November 4th, 1923 to the union of the late Ed and Mary Miller in Talladega, Alabama. As a young adult she moved to Sycamore, Alabama and united in holy matrimony to Mr. RT Barber and united with Mountain Home Baptist Church, Sycamore, Alabama. She was active in the Junior Mission and Vacation Bible School. In June of 1974 she became a Baptized member of Jehovah’s Witnesses where she served faithfully until her death on November 12th, 2022, at the young age of 99 years old.

She was a wonderful person who was always available to help when needed. She was well-loved and had many friends in the Sycamore Community.

Barber departed this walk of life on November 12th, 2022, at her residence in Sylacauga, Alabama.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and May Miller, daughter, Lorene Cook, siblings, Rebecca Story, Henrietta Story, Ruth Story, Edna Mae Bethune, Bud Miller, and Charles Miller.

She is survived by her loving brother, George Felleriston; grandchildren, Deborah Roseman, Cheryl Cook, Tabbitha (Rev. Stan) Gaddis, Mary (Charles) Godfrey, Victoria Barber, Gloria Barber, Dolene Hale, Charles Jr. (Agnes) Barber, and RT (Agnes) Barber; stepson, Charles Barber Sr.; a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, special friend and caregiver Mae Cohill, and a host of other relatives and friends.
