Ms. Annie Delois Thomas was born on July 18th, 1946, to the parentage of Sid Thomas and Mattie Sims Thomas in Rockford, Alabama.
Ms. Thomas accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior early in life and would continue to faithfully follow God’s word throughout her entire life. “Lois” as everyone knew her, received her education from Walco Elementary and in her teens moved to New York for eight years. After growing homesick she relocated back to Alabama. Although Lois faced many trials and tribulations she always looked to God for strength and was able to stay a strong, loving and caring woman for her children and family. After being employed by several companies in Sylacauga, Lois joyfully retired from Coosa Valley Hospital in 2000 and then Childersburg Middle School in 2010.
Ms. Thomas departed this walk of life February 13th, 2022, under the care of Coosa Valley Medical Center, Sylacauga, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mattie Thomas, father, Sid Thomas, two siblings, Hulon Thomas and Mary Harris.
Her love will forever be cherished by one son, Cornelius L. Thomas of Sylacauga, AL; two daughters, Cindy Norwood of Childersburg, AL, and Felicia Thomas of Sylacauga, AL; two sisters, Betty Vines of Sylacauga, AL, and Charelsie Johnson of Munford, AL; four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
