Anthony Street's earthly journey began on March 5, 1971, to the parents of Robert Street, Sr. and Nancy Clark Street in Clay County, Alabama. At an early age Mr. Street accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Ashland, Alabama. Mr. Street was a faithful member and served on the Usher Board, Trustee Committee and a Lay Servant.
He received his formal education in the Clay County School System and Graduated with the class of 1989 at Clay County High School, Ashland, Alabama. After graduating Mr. Street began his working career and was later employed with Koch Food, recently known as Tyson’s Food in Ashland, Alabama for 28 years.
Along Mr. Street’s life’s journey, he met and united in Holy Matrimony to Ms. Tabatha Simmons on February 15, 2001. He enjoyed watching Western Movies, and Auburn University Sports. He loved listening to Blues and spending quality time with family and traveling with his wife.
Mr. Street departed this walk of life on March 3, 2023, at his residence in Ashland, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lela Bell and Marion Street, Maternal grandparents, Myrtle and Tom Clark, brother, Robert Street, Jr., aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His love will forever be cherish be his wife of 22 years, Tabatha S. Street of Ashland, AL; two sons, Joshua Simmons, and Jeremy Simmons; parents, Robert (Nancy) Street, Sr. of Ashland, AL; sister, Anita Kelly of Columbus, GA; niece, Shannae (Leon) Parham of Columbus, GA; nephews, Eric Kelly and Aaron Kelly both of Orlando, FL; two grandchildren, Arianna Simmons and Reece Simmons of Ashland, AL; aunts, Annie Ruth McClain of Anniston, AL and Ann Burney of Ashland, AL; special cousin, Stanley Street of Anniston; and a host of other relatives and friends.
