Arthur Alexander Smith’s earthly began on October 8, 1964, in Sylacauga, Alabama to the proud parents of Jimmy Smith and Sammie Beulah Wells Smith.
Arthur accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age in life. He later united his faith with New Beginnings Outreach Ministries, Sylacauga, Alabama under the leadership of the late Elder Erastus Godfrey and Pastor Deforest Godfrey.
Arthur received his education in the Talladega County School System and graduated from B.B. Comer Memorial High School, Sylacauga, Alabama with the class of 1983. After completing his education, he works with various employers. He traveled and resided in Seattle, Washington, where he was employed with Bowing Airforce.
Arthur’s love for people never allowed him to meet a stranger. He loved entertaining family and friends. And always kept you laughing and was full of energy and enthusiasm. He loved driving and showing off his drop top mustang. He had a special taste for fashion.
Arthur departed this walk of life on Saturday, December 16, 2023, under the care of Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center, Anniston, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Smith and Sammie Beulah Wells Smith and other relatives and close friends.
Arthur’s love will forever be remembered by his loving children, Reco Smith, Candance Brown, and Brianna Alexander; three loving sisters, Elizabeth Smith, Sarah Smith, and Brenda Smith, and four brothers, Charles Smith, Larry Smith, Jim Smith, and Michael Smith; four grandchildren, Phoenix Bostic, Remy Smith, Aden Brown, and Cameron Brown; nephews, Chris Smith, James Smith, Mike Smith, and Junior Smith; nieces, LaToya Smith, Shara Smith, Crystal Smith, Chatina Smith, Charrell Smith, Jasmine Smith, and Lariah Smith; two best friends, Cedric and Ernest; and a host of other relatives and friends.
