Bernard Earl (FiFe) Ashley

Bernard Earl “FiFe” Ashely was born on April 28th, 1968 to the parents of Joe Henry Ashley and Pearlie Mae Smith Ashley in Sylacauga, Alabama. Bernard accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and united with Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama.

Bernard was educated in the Talladega County School System and graduated from Childersburg High School with the class of 1986. During and after high school, he was a dedicated employee with Avondale Mills for fifteen years, Southern Alloy from 2005 to present. Bernard worked various jobs and worked alongside his uncle Johnny Ashley in the landscaping business in Detroit, Michigan. He was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide Fan “Roll Tide”.

Bernard departed this walk of life on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at his residence in Sylacauga, Alabama. He was preceded in death by many relatives and friends.

Bernard’s love will forever be cherished by his parents, Joe Henry (Pearlie) Ashley of Sylacauga, AL, sons, Tim Tuck and Courtney Tuck of Sylacauga, AL; daughter, Charlissa Stone of Childersburg, AL; sisters, Bridget Ashley (Audwyne) Belcher of Atlanta, GA, Andrea Ellis of Childersburg, AL, and Brittney McKinney of Sylacauga, AL; grandchildren, Niveah Tuck, Kyler Tuck, and Kenee Bonner; God brothers, Regie Estelle of Birmingham, AL, Cedric Estelle of Douglasville, GA, and Malcolm Fluker of Sylacauga, AL; God sisters, Angela Smith, Stacey Smith of Douglasville, GA, Charlissa Holmes of Frederick, MD, Kendra Carter of Augusta, GA, Sharon McKinney, Cathy Hale, Candace Estelle all of Sylacauga, AL, Tarsha Shepherd of Birmingham, AL, and Tammy Hale of Oxford, AL and a host of other relatives and friends.
