Sylacauga, Alabama - Mrs. Beverly Ann Twyman was born on April 16, 1964, in Talladega, Alabama. She peacefully departed this life on March 4, 2026, at her residence in Sylacauga, Alabama.
Beverly received her education in the Talladega City School System and attended Talladega High School. She had a love for learning, and mathematics was always her favorite subject.
At an early age, Beverly accepted Christ and later became affiliated with New Maryland Baptist Church, where she nurtured her faith and maintained a strong spiritual foundation throughout her life.
Beverly was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. During her time in Connecticut, she worked at a nursing home and at Bestever Cleaners in Greenwich, Connecticut. After returning to Alabama in 2003, she continued her career in the cleaning industry, working faithfully at Wallace Cleaners and Utopia Cleaners in the Vestavia Hills and Cahaba Heights areas.
In her personal time, Beverly enjoyed simple but meaningful pleasures. She faithfully read her Bible each night and found great joy in bringing family members together. She had a special talent for baking cakes, which she often shared with loved ones. Two of her greatest passions were caring for her hair and tending to her garden, both of which brought her pride and happiness.
Beverly was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, William Frank Twyman, Sr., Rachel Pope Twyman, Samuel Chatman, and Mary Lou Jones Chatman; her parents, William Frank Twyman, Jr. and Sarah Ann Chatman Twyman; her brother, Reginald Twyman; and her daughter, Tasheka Twyman.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories the love of her life, Keith Nelson; her devoted daughter, Tanikia S. Twyman; two loving grandchildren, Marcel J. Lee and Jaylen L. Lee; her sisters, Sandra (Gail) Jemison, Mary Jane Garrett, Vernita Jones, Josephine Twyman, and Teresa Twyman; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Beverly’s life was a reflection of love, faith, and devotion to family. Her warm spirit, kind heart, and dedication to those she loved will never be forgotten. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
