Billy Earl (Papa Rock) Isome

Mr. Billy Earl Isome was born September 28, 1942 to the late Enoch Leon Isome and the late Lurleen Crayton Isome, in Titus, Alabama.

At a young age he joined Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Elmore County, Alabama, and later became a member of Fresh Start Ministry, in Sylacauga, AL.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to Darlene Olden Stephens on April 1, 2001 in Sylacauga, AL.

Mr. Isome gained his wings on September 16, 2019 at his residence, in Sylacauga, AL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Enock Isome and Lurleen Isome Culpepper; one sister Betty Jean Isome Barkley; two brothers, Mack Isome and WIllie Isome.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories a loving wife, Darlene Isome of Sylacauga, AL; two sons Eric (Tammy) Isome of Sylacauga, AL; and Rodrick Jones of Childersburg, AL; six daughters, Robin Patterson of Sylacauga, AL; April Jackson of Dayton, OH; Angela Stephens of Sylacauga, AL; Latoya Stephens of Dayton, OH; Crystal Taylor and Andrea Taylor both of Dayton, OH; one brother, James Edward (Yvonne) Isome, of Amherst, NY; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; two special nieces/ daughters, Twanda Isome Christian and Terrian Isome of Tuscaloosa, AL; special nephews, Kerry Barkley, Julius Isome, Denontae Twymon, and Andre Culpepper all of Sylacauga, AL; two aunts, Velma Garrett of Titus, AL; and Ruby Francis of Tampa, FL; one sister in law, Cynthia Olden of Sylacauga, AL; brother in law, Steven Olden of Pasadena, CA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
