Bobby Lewis Swain

Mr. Bobby Lewis Swain was born on March 6th, 1955 to the parentage of Mr. Willie James Swain and Mrs. Rosie Lee Swain.  Mr. Swain received his formal education in the Talladega County School System and attended Phyllis Wheatley School. Later he went to Job Corp Center, where he received his High School Equivalency Diploma.

Mr. Swain was gifted with the love of art. Drawing and painting became his passion. With his talent he could draw anything and anybody, even looking in a mirror and draw himself.  He also had a passion for farming.

Mr. Swain departed this walk of life on September 30th, 2022 at his residence in Sylacauga, Alabama.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie James Swain and Rosie Lee Swain, one brother, William E. Fuller, two sisters, Minnie Lou Smoot Traylor and Betty Sue Swain. 

His love will forever be cherished by his daughter, Debbie Malone (Samford) Crow of Fayetteville, AL; one brother, Johnny Smoot, Jr. of Childersburg, AL; sisters, Rosetta Fowler, Barbara (Johnny) Lawson, Minnie Mae (Tony) Taylor all of Sylacauga, AL, Hanna (Robert) Thompson of Huntsville, AL, and Bell Jemison of Birmingham, AL; uncles, Oscar E. Swain and Glover (Patricia) Swain of Childersburg, AL; aunties, Annie L. Dodson of Childersburg, AL and Annie P. Brown of Birmingham, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
