Bridgett Threatt Obituary

Bridgett Threatt’s earthly journey began on July 2nd, 1966, in Albany, New York to the parents of Mrs. Bonnie Threatt and the late Mr. Wendell Threatt. Bridgett was the baby of six children, which include James, Wendell, Demetrius, Christopher, and the late Arthur. Bridgett accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and found her home at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Harpersville, Alabama.

Bridgett received her education in the Shelby County School System and graduated from Vincent Middle/High School. Bridgett further her education and graduated from Brown Mackie College in May 2014. Bridgett worked for several years at Chick-Fil-la where she developed life-long friendships. Bridgett was recently working at Home Instead Senior Care and TJ Maxx where she had been for over 4 years.

Bridgett will be remembered for being a loving mother, daughter, sister, and niece. She will most of all be remembered for her infectious smile, jokes, selflessness, and care for others.

Bridgett departed this walk of life on November 9th, 2022, under the care of Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama. She was preceded by her father, Mr. Wendell Threatt, niece, Ms. Kiersten Reynolds, Grandmothers, Mom Jennie, Brother, Mr. Arthur McKinney, and aunts and uncles.

Bridgett’s love will forever be cherished by her daughter, Ms. Amanda Threatt, Birmingham, AL; Mother, Mrs. Bonnie Threatt of Sylacauga, AL; Brothers, Mr. Wendell Threatt, Mr. Demetrius Threatt of Vincent, AL, Mr. James McKinney of Harpersville, and Mr. Christopher McKinney of Childersburg, AL; host of nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, and other relatives and friends.
