Carey Norris, Jr.

Mr. Carey Norris Jr. was born April 15th, 1947, to the parents of the late Rev. Carey Norris, Sr. and Susie Mae Edwards Norris. He was loved by many.

Mr. Norris departed this walk of life on November 14th, 2022, under the care of Coosa Valley Medical Center, Sylacauga, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Carey Norris, Sr. and Susie Mae Norris, one sister, Mary Sue McNeal, three brothers, Master Sgt. Steve Norris, Minister Stanley Norris, and Larry Norris.

Mr. Norris leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife, Mamie Norris of Alexander City, AL; daughters, Crystal (Barry Jr.) Darby of Sylacauga, AL, Jennifer Davis of Columbus, GA, and Tiwanda Davis of Alexander City, AL; sons, Fredrick Davis of Alexander City, AL, and Pamela Norris of Sylacauga, AL; brothers, Jerry Norris, Robert Norris, and Reginald Norris, Sr. all of Sylacauga, AL; sisters, Linda (Gaston) Nix, Pastor Shirley (Larry) Johnson, Phyllis Norris, Peggy Norris and Erica (Gary) Walls all of Sylacauga, AL; seven grandchildren, a host of stepchildren, step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
