Carolyn Garrett

Ms. Carolyn Garrett was born on April 9, 1949 in Talladega, Alabama to the parentage of the late Madie Malone Garrett. She was the third to last born out of her three siblings. 

She joined Tallassahatchie Missionary Baptist Church at a young age and dedicated her life to Christ. 

She worked for 36 years at Kimberly Clark, which later became Bowater until she retired.  After retirement she spent most of her time traveling and being a full time loving grandmother to her four grandchildren. 

Ms. Garrett departed this walk of life on August 11, 2020 at Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham, AL. 

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, one daughter, Marcita Garrett; one brother, Thomas Garrett; grandchildren, Nia Garrett, Donnima Garrett, Timothy Garrett, Jr. and Quentez Twymon; three great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
