Cassandra Nicole Flanigan

Ms. Cassandra Nicole Flanigan affectionately known as “Casey” was born on October 9, 1991 in Sylacauga, Alabama to the parents of Ronald Flanigan and Debra Kelley Flanigan.   Casey accepted the Lord early in life and faithfully had a relationship with Christ until her departure on April 7, 2023.

Her early years of life were spent in Sylacauga, Alabama and she united with Harper Springs Baptist Church where she learned about the Lord with her grandparents, Rev. Freddie Flanigan and Mrs. Catherine Flanigan.  She later moved to Tampa, Florida with her parents and sisters.  She received her education while in Tampa, Florida at Dowdell Middle School and graduated from Jefferson High School.  Casey studied Criminal Justice in hopes of one day becoming a Attorney at Law.  She put her dreams on hold, and devoted her life to caring for her mother after she was diagnosed with stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. 

On Friday, April 7, 2023, Casey traded her earthly journey for eternal rest, reuniting with her grandparents, Rev. Freddie Flanigan, Catherine Flanigan, and Glenda Vernon.

Casey’s love will be forever remembered by her parents, Ronald and Debra Flanigan of Tampa, FL; two sisters, Roneish Flanigan and Laneisha Flanigan both of Tampa, FL; three uncles, Freddie Hudson, Jr., of Sylacauga, AL, Jessie Donald Hudson of Stone, GA, and Jimmy (Stephanie) Kelley of Childersburg, AL; three nephews, Jasiah Washington, Jaiden Washington, and Ashtyn Gurley all of Tampa, FL; boyfriend, Orey Gaines of Tampa, FL; and a host of other relatives.
