Caylem Javarous Estelle Obituary

Anniston, Alabama - Mr. Caylem Javarous Estelle life’s journey began on June 18, 1989. He was affectionately known by his family and friends as “CJ”.  CJ was the son of Tymeka Estelle and Reginald Twymon. 

At a young age CJ accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama.  He received his formal education in the Talladega County School System and attended Childersburg High School, where he excelled with the Childersburg Tiger Football and Basketball team. He graduated with the Class of 2007 and furthered his education and attended East Central Community College, where he received an associate degree in 2009. After completing his journey at East Central, he continued his passion for football and attended University of Tennessee at Martin, where he graduated in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in health & human performance. 

CJ began his career in the United States Army in 2016, where he received his National Defense Service Medal, and Army Service Ribbon.  He received his honorable discharge in April 2019.  CJ continued to serve this beautiful nation and was an active guard with the Alabama Army National Guard where he received many awards, accolades, and was recently promoted in January 2024.

CJ was a member of the Prince Hall Freemasonry, Constella Lodge #246, Alpine, Alabama.

CJ had a passion and a deep love for sports. And he had a special love for his kids whom he LOVED dearly.  On January 29, 2024, CJ peacefully departed this walk of life surrounded by his loved ones.  CJ will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and his infectious laughter and vibrant spirit will continue to touch our lives forever.

CJ’s loving memories will forever be remembered and cherished by his two sons, Camden Ja’Kodi and Cayden Ja’Quan; one loving daughter, Cayleigh Jenise; expecting son, Caylem Javarous (Deuce); loving mother, Tymeka Estelle (Eddie Cook) and his loving father, Reginald (Wendy) Twymon; loving sisters, Tamia Nykole, BreAnna Twymon, Anslea Twymon, and Adyson Twyson; loving brothers, Tyrone Machen, Christian Twymon, and Conner Twymon; loving grandparents, Leon Estelle, Carol Estelle, Donald and Rosa Silmon, and Will Higgins; aunts and uncles, Andre and Detra Swain, Scott and Meagan McKinney and Donnie Estelle; special cousins, Zakiyyah McKinney, Keonte Estelle, and Jailah Swain; special friend, Nyra Swain; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of life for Mr. Caylem Javarous Estelle, 34, will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama.  Pastor Clifton Cook, Eulogist. Interment will commence in the Pine Grove Church Cemetery, Sylacauga, Alabama. Public Viewing will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, 1:00PM to 7:00PM at Community Funeral Home.
