Cedric Thomas White

Sylacauga, Alabama - Cedric Thomas White journey began on November 18, 1976, in Talladega County, Alabama. He was born to William Thomas White and Juanetta Ann Moon White who preceded him in death.

Cedric was educated in the public school system at B. B. Comer Memorial High School.  He was a part of the graduating class of 1995. After receiving his education, he was employed with Avondale Mills, Inc. and Wendy’s Restaurant for a long length of time.

Cedric accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age and later became a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Sylacauga, Alabama.

On April 18, 2025, at Decatur Morgan Medical Center, Cedric departed this walk of life, leaving an unforgettable impact on the hearts of everyone he touched, as he peacefully departed this life at the age of 48.  He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Junetta Ann Moon White, grandparents, Landers Moon, Anzliea Moon, and Ada lee White, brothers Lamar White, and Earnest White.

He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved children, Kiyana Curry, Cedruice White, Lexie McElrath, Destiny White, and Haliah White; father, William Thomas White; brothers, Fredrick (Petra) Jackson, Landers White, and Terrell White; sisters, Angliea (Benjamin) Harvey, Stephanie White, Tamara (James) Tucker, and Quann (Cliff) McKinney; grandchildren, Khloe Calhoun and Kayleigh Calhoun; uncles, Larry (Daisy) Moon, Billy (Angie) Moon, and Kelvin White; aunts, Willie (Alex) Jackson, Junita Varner, Brenda (Dewitt) Simmons, Gloria (Ricky) Johnson, Debra Jones, Betha Ashley, Alfreda Milliner, Julie Garrett, Debra Davis, Tammy Barlow, and Karen (Courtney) Gamble; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of life for Cedric Thomas White, age 48, will be held on April 26, 2025, at 3:00PM at Community Funeral Home Chapel, Sylacauga, Alabama.  Pastor Carlos Woodward, Eulogist.  Interment will commence in the Harper Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Sylacauga, Alabama.  Public viewing will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, 1:00PM to 7:00PM, family hour 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Community Funeral Home.
