Chevy Amanda Letson’s earthly journey began on January 29, 1979 to the parents of Harvey Lee Letson, Jr. and Reda Harris in Detroit, Michigan. Chevy accepted Christ as her Lord and savior at an early age in life.
Chevy received her education in Ashland, Alabama at Maranatha Christian Academy. She was a member of the Ponytail Softball Team in Sylacauga, Alabama.
Chevy departed this walk of life on May 26, 2023 at her residence in Alpine, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Lee Letson, Jr., grandfathers, Henry Hill, Henry Colwell, and Harvey Lee Letson, Sr., grandmother, Betty Letson, brother, Shawn Letson, and sister, Tamra June Letson.
Chevy’s love will forever be cherished by her loving children, Jalan (Lauren) Woods, Shannon Jones, Brianna Giddens, and Katlyn Giddens; loving mother, Reda Harris; grandmother, Sarah Hill; loving partner, Harry Lawson; loving brother, Harvey Lee (Dorene) Letson, III; grandchildren, Tamryn Kinard, Trysten Kinard, Adaline Kinard, Aaron Kinard, McKenzie Barnes, Kaynan Jones, Brantley Willingham, and Kyla Giddens; nieces and nephews, Amanda (Travis) Kinard, Dakota (Hannah) Letson, Aidan Wright, Nicholas (Lexi) Campbell, Faith Letson, Olivia Letson, Anthony Letson, and Matheau Letson; special friend, Kevin Woods; and a host of aunts, uncles other relatives and friends.
