Ms. Daisy Mae Hamilton was born on November 21, 1935 to the late Otis Hamilton and the late Willie Hamilton.
She accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church where she joined at a young age. She enjoyed reading her bible. She is remembered for her loving care that she continuously provided to her family.
She graduated from Phyllis Wheatley High School. She was employed in private homes for many years.
Ms. Hamilton departed this walk of life on April 25, 2020 at Talladega Health and Rehab in Talladega, AL.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Hamilton Lynch, brothers, Roy Townsend, Otis Hamilton, Jr., Luther Hamilton, John C. Hamilton, and Robert Hamilton, sisters, Mattie Lee Fuller, Ruby Williamson, Earline Hamilton, and Catherin Cowlin, and great grandson, Demetrius Pope, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving son, Ivory Joe (Territa) Hamilton of Talladega, AL; loving daughter, Patricia (Dedrick) Green of Talladega, AL; two sisters, Essie Brown and Evelyn Ware both of Sylacauga, AL; grandchildren, Candrece Hamilton, Alfreda Lynch, Taneshia Green, Wilmeshia Lynch, Valencia (Kevin) Castleberry, Monterius Green, Honorable Mayor Timothy Ragland, Ivory Hamilton, and Zion Hamilton, all of Talladega, AL; fifteen great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relative and friends.
