David DeWayne (Tojo) Thomas

“…weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” –Psalms 30:5

Mr. David Wayne Thomas, better known as “Tojo”, was born on January 15, 1973, to the parentage of the late Mr. Nathaniel Wilson and Mr. Robin H & Mrs. Annie M. Thomas.

Mr. Thomas accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of his uncle, the late Overseer Tommie L. Swain. “Tojo” loved working in the industrial field. He was a joy to be around and every time he showed up, you couldn’t help but to smile and laugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister: Edna M. Thomas.

On September 02, 2018, Mr. Thomas departed this walk of life at Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga, AL

He leaves to cherish his memories; three sisters, Angie (James) Heath, Rachel Thomas, and Erica Wilson; four brothers, Johnny Thomas, Dedrick Thomas, Victor Thomas, and Michael (Juakia) Wilson; thirteen nieces and fourteen nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
