Deacon Jerry Wayne Twymon was born to the parentage of the late Jerry Twymon, Jr. and Mrs. Ruth Merritt on November 24, 1953 in Talladega, Alabama.
Jerry, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with New Maryland Missionary Baptist Church and served as a faithful deacon, treasurer, and male/ mass choir member until his passing.
As a young man he was a skilled worker that was employed at various jobs and retired from Wehadkee Yarn Mills and Greens Tire Company.
On Sunday, April 11, 2021, Deacon Twymon entered his eternal rest at his residence, Alpine, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Twymon, Jr. and son, Franklin Twymon.
His love and memories will always be remembered and cherished by his loving wife, Juliette Twymon; loving mothers, Ruth Merritt Keeenan and Eva Lue Twymon; three daughters, Tiffani Twymon, Marquita Verges, and Pamela Herring; four sons, Christopher Herring, James Herring, Johnnie Herring and Jakabryin Twymon; five sisters, Sherrie Twymon, Valerie Lawson, Bridget King, Deborah Smith and Linda Merritt; two brothers, Floyd Twymon and Jerry Dewayne Twymon; two aunts, Louise Martin and Irene Shipp; one uncle, James Merritt; 19 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
