Deloris (Longmile) Long

Mrs. Deloris L. Long began her life journey on April 11th, 1954 to the parentage of the late Clarence Longmile, Sr. and the late Kelly Strong Longmile. 

At an early age Mrs. Long accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at Marietta Baptist Church in Goodwater, AL and making her final home as Pine Grove Baptist Church. 

She worked at Russell Mills over 35 years where she was well Known as "Big Mama."

On Wednesday, November 4th, 2020 a beloved wife, devoted and caring mother, loving sister, aunt, grandmother, and dear friend answered the Lord's call at Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham, AL. 

Mrs. Long was preceded in death by her loving husband, father, mother, and sister, Kellie McKenzie. 

She is survived by her loving children, Nikia (Terrance) Price of Fletcher, NC; Latonical (Lamar) Edwards of Sylacauga, AL; one sister, Levelma (Theotis) Wilson of Childersburg, AL; brother, Clarence Longmile; two granddaughters, Kalisha Price and Kierra Price; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
