Donna D. Thompson

Donna Denane Thompson earthly journey began on July 27, 1968, to the union of Tyler Thompson and Geraldine Chancellor Thompson in Wilsonville, Alabama. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age, and united with Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Wilsonville, Alabama. 

Donna received her education in the Pittsburgh Public Schools and attended Carrick High School, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Along Donna’s life’s journey, she met and united in holy matrimony to Mr. Roy Burns.

Donna departed this walk of life on November 2nd, 2022, at her residence in Childersburg, Alabama.  She was preceded in death by her father, Tyler Thompson, and other relatives.

Her love will forever be remember by her husband, Roy Burns; children, Jorell, Dorell, Reginald, Donita, Jamie, Lolitta, and Sherlene; mother, Geraldine Thompson; siblings, Ericka Thompson, Mattie Tolliver, Mavis, Shaunte, Brenda, Bettie, Tyler, Gerald, and Abdual; nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
