The life of Earnestine Cook was a life full of serving Jesus, family and others.
She was born on May 27, 1950 to the late Willie Smith and Flora Mae Wilson –Smith.
Earnestine graduated from Phyllis Wheatley High School 1969. She was employed by the State of Alabama as a bus driver for Fayetteville High School for over twenty years where she retired.
Earnestine was faithful to the Lord. She served at St. John Missionary Baptist Church and truly loved her church family. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir and rendering her service where ever she was needed. Her presence will be missed.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving daughter, Belinda Cook of Tuskegee, AL; two sisters, Lola M. (John) Townsend of Sylacauga, AL; and Rosetta (Daniel) King of Sylacauga, AL; one aunt, Anna Townsend of Childersburg, AL; two uncles, Glenn Wilson of Childersburg, AL; John Milton (Lue) Wilson of Sylacauga, AL; two granddaughters, Samara Nix of Sylacauga, AL; Yasmine Brown of Childersburg, AL; five great grandchildren, Jordyn Lawson, Avery Nix, Ashton Lawson, Kyvie Joyner, Za’Corrien Twyman, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
