Eddie Frank Morris

Sylacauga, Alabama - Mr. Eddie Frank Morris was born on March 1, 1955, in Sycamore, Alabama, to the parentage of John L. Morris and Jessie Nell Morris. On May 25, 2026, he peacefully departed this life at his residence in Sylacauga, Alabama.

Eddie received his education in the Talladega County School System and graduated from Winterboro High School in 1973. At an early age, he dedicated his life to Christ and united with Mount Olive Baptist Church, where he began his spiritual journey and nurtured his faith.

Throughout his life, Eddie was blessed with many employment opportunities. He worked diligently for Vulcan Rock Quarry, BF Goodrich, Talladega County, and several other places throughout his career. He was known as a hardworking man who believed in providing for himself and lending a helping hand whenever he could.

Eddie had a passion for automobiles and found great joy in racing and repairing cars. The sound of an engine brought a smile to his face, and he was happiest when working under the hood of a vehicle. He also took pride in repairing things around the home and was often the person family and friends could count on when something needed fixing. During his leisure time, he enjoyed watching western movies and spending time with those he loved.

Those who knew Eddie will remember his warm spirit, sense of humor, and the joy he brought into every room. There was never a dull moment when he was around. He leaves behind cherished memories as a devoted son, caring brother, loving uncle, loyal friend, and a man whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, John L. Morris; his sister, Janice Morris; and his brother, John Oscar Morris.

Eddie leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving and devoted mother, Jessie Nell Morris; his sister-in-law, Diane Morris; his special friend, Brenda Meadows; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
