Eloise Reynolds was born on September 12, 1942 in Talladega County, Alabama. She was the beloved daughter to Henry Garfield Garrett and Ella Mae Davis Garrett, who both preceded her in death.
Eloise was a graduate at East Highland High School, Sylacauga, Alabama. She was a part of the band as a majorette. Shortly after graduating she was employed at Avondale Mills, Inc in Sylacauga, Alabama for over 15 years until her retirement.
Eloise accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age, and united with Mountain Home Baptist Church. She served as the Vice President of Mountain Home Usher Board and a member of the Food Committee.
Along Eloise’s life’s journey she met and united in Holy Matrimony to Deyampert Reynolds, Jr. on August 13, 1983.
She departed this walk of life on June 8, 2025 at her residence in Sycamore, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, Roy Lee Garrett, Jesse Garrett, Booker Ezell Garrett, John Garrett, Harry Thomas, and Sam Garrett, one sister, Ella Louise Simmons.
Eloise leaves to cherish her loving memories her loving spouse of 44 years, Deyampert Reynolds, Jr. of Sycamore, AL; loving daughter, Karen Bradford of Gardendale, AL; two sons, Cedric L. (Cheryl) Garrett of Talladega, AL, and Dennis M. Garrett of Sylacauga, AL; three loving sisters, Lilly Ruth (Walter) Jones of Talladega, AL, Pearlie Garrett of Talladega, AL, and Mary Cook of Georgia; two stepdaughters, Bridgette Reynolds of Chelsea, AL, and Michelle Asley of Alpine, AL; two special daughters, Linda Cook Wilkerson, and Tara Thomas both of Childersburg, AL; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, three sister in laws, Mary Becca (Will) Moore of Birmingham, AL, Willie Ann Funderburg of Anniston, AL, and Brenda (Spencer) Collins of Alpine, AL; brother in law, Tony (Carol) Reynolds of Pensacola, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
