Faye McMillian Robertson

Mrs. Faye McMillian Robertson, born as Eddie Faye McMillian, was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She was born on January 25, 1935 to the beloved parents of Eddie and Bertha McMillian in Sylacauga, Alabama.

Faye accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and later united her faith with Coosa Valley Baptist Church, Vincent, Alabama, under the leadership of Pastor Willie J. Posey. 

Along Faye’s life journey she met and united in Holy Matrimony to the love of her life Freeman Lee Robertson. 

She departed this walk of life on June 25, 2024 at her residence surrounded by family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Bertha McMillian, sister, Mae Lois Bledsoe, sons, Billy Wayne McMillian, Kenneth Earl Robertson, Richard (Do-Dirty) Robertson, daughter, Sonya Robertson. 

Faye’s love will forever be cherished by her loving and devoted husband of 68 years, Freeman Robertson of Vincent, AL; sons, Larry Robertson, Glenn Robertson, Antonio Lee (Andante) Robertson both of Vincent, AL, Jerry (Wendy) Robertson of Bessemer, AL, and Blake Robertson of Alpine, AL; daughters, Nell Robertson of Vincent, AL, Lois (Joe) Garrett, Dorothy (Derrick) Jones both of Childersburg, AL, Alfreda Robertson (LaCourtney) and LaVon Garrett both of Alpine, AL; siblings, Lurlene Twymon, Ruth Jones, Carolyn Smith, Laverne (AL) Blankenship, Willie McMillian, Eddie McMillian all of Detroit, MI, Olivia (Rufus) Ogletree of Southfield, MI, Felix McMillian, Elaine Wadsworth, Arletha Threatt, all of Sylacauga, AL, and Edith Pate of Childersburg, AL; sister in laws, Betty Robertson of Vincent, AL, and Annie Laura Robertson of Birmingham, AL; daughter in laws, Roberta McMillian of Sylacauga, AL, and Tracey Robertson of Harpersville, AL; special grandson\Caregiver, Damien Kidd of Vincent, AL; 40 grandchildren, 71 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
