Alexander City, Alabama - Fitzgerald Lamar Wilson, Jr. was born on August 26, 2006, in Sylacauga, Alabama, to the loving parentage of Shemaka Carter and Fitzgerald L. Wilson, Sr. He was affectionately known by family and friends as “Jugg,” a name that reflected his vibrant personality and the joy he brought to those around him.
Fitzgerald departed this walk of life on March 30, 2026, in Alexander City, Alabama, leaving behind memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him.
He received his education at Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City, Alabama. At an early age, Fitzgerald accepted Christ and was affiliated with Harper Springs Baptist Church in Alexander City, Alabama, where he was nurtured in faith and spiritual guidance.
Fitzgerald was preceded in death by his brother, Rafiel R. Riggins, Jr.; his favorite cousin, Jason A. Swain, Jr.; his grandfather, Eugene Lee; and his great-grandparents, Everline Richey, Bonnie Mae Nix, and James A. Nix, Sr., Bernice and Cornelius Carter.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving parents, Shemaka Carter (Shaun) of Alexander City, Alabama, and Fitzgerald L. Wilson, Sr. of Talladega, Alabama; his beloved siblings, Mahalia, Gabrielle, and Brandon, all of Alexander City, Alabama, and Sierra Wilson of Talladega, Alabama.
He also leaves his cherished grandparents, Malichia and Zack Petty of Alexander City, Alabama; Barbara Wilson of Talladega, Alabama; and Wesley and Crystal Nix of Humble, Texas.
Fitzgerald’s memory will also be treasured by his aunts and uncles, Kimberly Hoyett of Oxford, Alabama; Latifah Nix of Humble, Texas; Tomeika Wilson, Sharira Wilson, and Christey Wilson, all of Talladega, Alabama; La-Troy Carter of Birmingham, Alabama; Wesley Nix, Jr. of Villa Rica, Georgia; and Edward Lewis of Talladega, Alabama; along with a host of cousins, relatives, and dear friends who loved him deeply.
