Frederick Garrett

Mr. Frederick Garrett earthly journey began on August 21, 1975 to the parents of Felix Garrett and Dora Pope Nix in Talladega County, Alabama. 

Mr. Garrett accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and worshiped with different ministries during his life.   He was educated in the Sylacauga City School System and graduated with the class of 1993 at Sylacauga High School. 

During his youth he was an awesome basketball player and received MVP on different occasions. 

Mr. Garrett worked as an contractor worker for different companies as an electrician technician. 

Mr. Garrett departed this walk of life on June 15, 2023 under the care of Coosa Valley Medical Center, Sylacauga, Alabama.  He was preceded in death by his father, Felix Garrett, uncles, Joseph Pope, Robert Pope, Sam Pope, Jerry Pope, Lewis Pope, Frank Pope, Gary Wayne Pope, one aunt, Beatrice Pope.

His love will forever be cherished by his loving daughter, Alexis Garrett of Alexander City, AL; loving mother, Dora P. Nix of Childersburg, AL; loving brothers, Nathaniel Pope of Birmingham, AL, David Pope of Sylacauga, AL, and Cedric Garrett of Gadsden, AL; special aunt, Pearlie Mae (Joe) Ashley of Sylacauga, AL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
