Frederick Riggins was born on November 3, 1958, to the parentage of Claudette Riggins and Livingston C. “June” Riggins Jr.
Frederick, affectionately known as “Rick”, was educated by the Talladega County School system and a graduate of B. B. Comer High School the home of the Tigers. Frederick was a dedicated and devoted team member with Roadmaster Inc. for 35 years. Frederick will truly be missed by his family, friends and co-workers.
Frederick’s favorite pastime was watching football, the Dallas Cowboys, and basketball, the Portland Trail Blazers. He loved them Cowboys! his favorite saying was “if we can’t rope em, we’ll shoot em”.
Frederick was loved by everyone who knew him. At the age of 63, a beloved son, brother and uncle’s earthly journey abruptly ended when Frederick unexpectedly passed away on November 8, 2021, in Portland Oregon. Frederick accepted his heavenly wings to join his father Livingston Riggins Jr.
Frederick’s memories will forever be cherished and remembered by his mother Claudette Riggins of Sylacauga AL; three sisters: Lola Riggins Portland OR, Lolita Riggins Birmingham AL, Bolita R. Cook Sylacauga AL; two brothers Victor Riggins Portland OR, Roderick (Renee) Riggins Sylacauga AL. Aunts: Josie M. Waver, Sadie Hale, Peggy Patterson, Betty Townsend and Frances Townsend: Uncles: David (Amy) Riggins, special uncle, Leon Riggins, Michael (Shelia) Riggins, Rev. George Townsend and Jesse Seabon: Special loving and devoted niece Brittany Riggins, a host of other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
