Sylacauga, AL - Harris Kirkland, 87, was born January 5, 1931 to the parentage of the late, Arnold Kirkland and the late Fannie Wilson.

He departed this walk of life on February 28, 2018 at his residence, Sylacauga, AL.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Kirkland.

He is survived by six loving children, Beverly Burton, Cathy Russell, Monique (Jerry) McAdams, Laverne Towns, Shirley (Rev. Matthew) Leonard and Willie J. (Ida) Whetstone; and a host of other relatives and friends.
