Herbert Alphonso Wright

On November 21, 1931, Mr. Herbert Alphonso (Teenie) Wright was born to the union of the late Joseph and Versia Wright, in Sylacauga, Alabama. 

As a young man, Herbert served in the Armed Forces and after that settled in Chicago, Illinois where he gained employment with U.S. Department of Defense.  He retired from there after 38 years of service. In 1985, Herbert met the love of his life Phyllis and they United Holy Matrimony on March 13, 1991.  Herbert and Phyllis were truly a match made in heaven.  When you saw one you saw the other.  Their love for each other was unconditional and proved to be everlasting. 

On Tuesday, July 24, 2018, God’s angels decided Herbert had fulfilled his life’s work and took him home to reunite with his father, mother, brother, son, Andre and to finally meet Christ whom he knew to be his savior. 

Mourning his departure are his beloved wife,  Phyllis Wright; sister, Elizabeth Golden; daughter, Williette (Cortez); son, Orpheus (Tina); five  grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
