Inez Eloise Diamond Obituary

Mrs. Inez Eloise Hunter Diamond began her earthly journey on September 20, 1938, in Amityville, New York.  She was born to the union of Mary Virginia Howcott, and John Oliver Hunter, who both preceded her in death.  She was called to her heavenly home on March 6, 2025, under the care of St. Vincent UAB Medical Center, in Birmingham, Alabama.

Mrs. Diamond received her education and graduated from Amityville Memorial High School.  She furthered her education and enrolled in Briarcliffe College, where she studied Law and later graduated and received her bachelor’s degree in law.

Amongst her completion of college, she met and united in Holy Matrimony to the late George Diamond on December 1955.  This union was blessed with four sons, the late Darren Diamond, the late Joseph Keith Diamond, Paul Diamond, and George Diamond, two daughters, the late Irvina Sexton and Mogol Lawson.

She later moved to Talladega, Alabama in 2000 and started a new life and continued her worship with the 7th Day Adventist Ministry’s at Mount Zion and Pine Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She was also a loving grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, Godmother, and sister.  She loved everyone equally unconditionally.  She will continue to live thru us.
