Jamee Tontanisha Yvonne Wright

Sylacauga, Alabama - Jamee Tontanisha Yvonne Wright earthly journey began on November 30, 1990, in Birmingham, Alabama to her beloved parents, Willie James Wright and Machelle Isome. 

She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age and united with Enon Missionary Baptist Church, Childersburg, Alabama. And later united with Shiloh Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama under the leadership of Rev. Bruce Alford.

Jamee received her formal education in the Talladega County School System and attended B.B. Comer Memorial High School, Sylacauga, Alabama.

On February 1, 2024, Jamee gained her Heavenly wings in the comfort of her home surround by her loved ones.  She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Betty Jean Isome Barkley and Lillie Mae Scott, grandfather, William Johnson, step grandfather, Frank Scott, uncles, Greg Barkley, Billy Isome, James Isome, Julius Isome, Raymond Wright, McKinley Johnson, aunts, Sue Wright, Pearlie Forbes and Fay Johnson.

Her love will forever be cherished by her beautiful daughter, JaZyiah Wright of Childersburg, AL; a handsome son, JaMarion Goodman of Childersburg, AL; her loving parents, Willie J. Wright and Machelle Isome both of Childersburg, AL; grandfather, Willie (Elizabeth) Barkley of Sylacauga, AL; five sisters, Preshanta Twyman(O’Bryan) Fuller of Childersburg, AL, Turkessa (La’Barron) Simmons of Atlanta, GA, Tepassion (Tyshawn) Eaddy of South Carolina, Shanettra Mallory of Childersburg, AL, and Maria Swain of Sylacauga, AL; four brothers, Denontae (Mary) Twymon of Sylacauga, AL, Tarus (Tiffany) Twyman of Childersburg, AL, Jason (Tesha) Twyman of Childersburg, AL, and Willie Cook of Childersburg, AL; special great aunt, Yvonne Isome of Amherst, New York; special friends, Whitley, Mikko, and Kita; and a host of special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of life for Jamee Tontanisha Yvonne Wright, 33, will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 11:00AM at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Sylacauga, Alabama.  Pastor Bruce O. Alford, eulogist. Interment will commence in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery, Titus, Alabama.  Public Viewing will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, 1:00PM to 7:00PM, family hour, 4:00PM to 6:00PM at Community Funeral Home.
