James Earl Patterson

Mr. James Earl Patterson was born on September 4, 1947 to the late Mary Embry. 

He was adopted, loved and cherish by the late Mr. and Mrs Mack and Ella Patterson.

Mr. James was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mack and Ella Patterson, one son, Kelvin Patterson, brother, Robert L. Dates.

He departed his life on February 19, 2019 at Coosa Valley Medical Center, Sylacauga, AL.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Peggy Patterson of Sylacauga, AL; three daughters, April (Derrick) Pointer of Talladega, AL; Japonica Patterson of Sylacauga, AL; Shatora Watson of Fort Deposit, AL; one son, Chris (LaTasha) Patterson of Sylacauga, AL; one brother, Johnny (Gudrun) Dates, Harker Heights, TX; stepsister, Katie Youngblood of Sylacauga, AL; two aunts, Dora Lee Pilate of Sylacauga, AL; and Cora Lee Kirksey of Wilsonville, AL; five grandchildren; special friend and caregiver, Vanessa Jones; and special friend, Shirley Snow; and a host of other relatives and friends.
