James Edward Jackson

James Edward Jackson earthly journey began on April 4, 1946 in Talladega County, Alabama to the parents of Carter Jackson, Sr. and Eula Lee Stamps Jackson.  He joined his parents, wife, Beulah Mae Jackson, daughter, Edna Marie Swain, eight sisters, three grandchildren, one great grandson in his Heavenly transition on August 13, 2023 in Birmingham, Alabama.

James accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and united with Mt. Zion Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, in Alpine, Alabama. 

James was educated at R. R. Moton High School in Sycamore, Alabama.  He was a dedicated employee with Pursell Industries for many years until his retirement.

Along James life’s journey het met and unit in Holy Matrimony to the late Beulah Mae Jackson. 

James will forever be remembered by his loving children, James Jackson, Jr., Patricia Ann Jackson, Billy Joe (Sheranda) Jackson all of Sylacauga, AL, Mary Frances (Michael) Harris of Temple, GA, and Michael Jackson of Sylacauga, AL; siblings, Jennie Ruth Seals, Carter Jackson, Jr., Earlene Grubbs, and Floral Dean Gray; twenty-three grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
