Janie (Morris) Winborn

Birmingham, Alabama - Janie Morris Winborn began her earthly journey on July 13, 1953, in Birmingham, Alabama. From this beginning, she lived a life rooted in love, service, and devotion to family and community.

Janie received her education in the Birmingham City School System and was a proud graduate of Carver High School in Birmingham, Alabama.

A devoted homemaker, Janie poured her heart into caring for her family. She was known for her giving spirit and willingness to serve others, remaining actively involved in her community and volunteering whenever help was needed. Her kindness, strength, and nurturing nature touched the lives of all who knew her.

On December 11, 2025, Janie peacefully departed this walk of life under the compassionate care of Sylacauga Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cecil Winborn, and her cherished son, Tony Winborn.

Janie leaves to cherish her precious memories her two loving sons, Thomas Winborn and Cecil Winborn; five devoted sisters; two caring brothers; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will forever treasure her legacy of love.

Her memory will remain a guiding light in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
