Jannie Florence Lee's earthly journey began on August 13th, 1934 in Talladega County, Alabama to the parents of Buster Morris and Mary Morris. Mrs. Jannie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and united with Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Childersburg, Alabama. She later united with Canaan Baptist Church, Heflin, Alabama under the leadership of her son, Rev. Archie Lee, II.
Mrs. Jannie received her education at Hanna J. Mary High School in Alpine, Alabama.
Mrs. Jannie was a part of the Mt. Olive Usher Board, Adult Choir and other auxiliaries.
Along Jannie’s life’s journey she met and united in Holy Matrimony to the late Archie Lee.
She departed this walk of life on December 25th, 2022, under the care of Coosa Valley Medical Center, Sylacauga, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Lee, son, Sherry Morris, mother, Mary Morris, father, Buster Morris, sister, Eppie Farris, two brothers, John Morris and Mckeal Morris.
Her love will forever be cherished by three sons, Rev. Archie (Gwendolyn) Lee, II of Childersburg, AL, Willie (Belinda) Lee of Childersburg, AL, and Jerry Lee of Childersburg, AL; four daughters, Mary (McKery) Swain of Alpine, AL, Elizabeth Lee of Sylacauga, AL, Felicia Lee of Childersburg, AL, and Casandra Lee of Atlanta, GA; ten grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
