Harpersville, Alabama - Jennie Lee Reynolds began her earthly journey on March 14, 1940, in Faunsdale, Marengo County, Alabama. Jennie was blessed with the beloved parents, Roland Taylor, Sr. and Gertrude Yow Taylor who both preceded her in death.
Jennie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior in her early years in life. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Harpersville, Alabama.
Jennie departed this walk of life on Monday, March 10, 2025 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Lewis Taylor, and eldest daughter, Gertrude Taylor McKinney.
Her love will forever be cherished by her loving children, Christopher Reynolds of Harpersville, AL, Belinda Reynolds of Gadsden, AL, Bridget Reynolds of Harpersville, AL, Eddie (Letitia) Reynolds of Sumter, SC, Halbert (Artavia) Reynolds, of Chelsea, AL, Sylvia Brown of Huntsville, AL, and bonus son, James McKinney of Harpersville, Alabama; loving siblings, Racel Taylor of Atlanta, Ga, Julia Taylor of Uniontown, AL, Adlay Taylor of Uniontown, AL, and Willie Mae Taylor of Demopolis, AL; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Celebration of life for Jennie Lee Reynolds, age 84, will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 12:00 Noon at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Harpersville, Alabama. Pastor Clarence Carter, Eulogist. Interment will commence in Harpersville Memorial Cemetery, Harpersville, Alabama. Public viewing will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, 1:00PM to 7:00PM at Community Funeral Home.
